Instructions
- In a large bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water. Stir in yeast and let it rise until foamy.
- Add salt and vegetable oil to the yeast mixture. Gradually mix in flour until incorporated.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth.
- Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Punch down dough, divide into two portions, shape into loaves, and place in oiled molds. Allow to rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
