  • 1 pound sirloin steak
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 (3-ounce) packages ramen noodles
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Garlic and ginger for added flavor

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl.
  2. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside with sesame oil.
  3. In a nonstick skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper and cook until browned. Remove from skillet.
  4. Add more olive oil to the skillet, steam the broccoli with water until tender, then return the steak.
  5. Add noodles and pour in the prepared sauce; toss everything together over low heat for a couple of minutes.
  6. Serve immediately with optional garnishes like sesame seeds or sliced green onions.
