Description

Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage is a comforting one-dish meal that brings together creamy potatoes, savory smoked sausage, and zesty ranch seasoning.   • 1 lb Monon Meats Smoked Sausage, thinly sliced
  • 2 lbs potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the smoked sausage slices until fully cooked. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, cooked sausage, sautéed onion and garlic, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
