Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar (1/2 cup for filling, 1/2 cup for topping)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Beat cream cheese with 1/2 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture in the pan.
  5. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press into the bottom of the pan over the cinnamon-sugar layer.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. Unroll the second can of dough and place it on top of the cream cheese layer.
  8. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over this top layer.
  9. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before slicing into bars.
