Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 boneless ribeye steak
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 Boursin cheese (garlic & herb flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons water (or more for thinning out)
  • ½ tablespoon creamed horseradish
  • 1 baguette (sliced into 1/2”-thick slices, approximately 20 slices)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • balsamic glaze (to drizzle each crostini)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives (chopped, to garnish each crostini)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steak with kosher salt and heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the steak for about 4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Let it rest before thinly slicing against the grain.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine Boursin cheese and creamed horseradish; add water until smooth.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet brushed with olive oil. Bake until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  5. Assemble by topping each crostini with sliced steak, drizzling with horseradish sauce, and garnishing with fresh chives.
