  • 450 g steak
  • 25 g butter (for filling)
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • 5 g salt (for filling)
  • 3 g cayenne powder
  • 3 g red bell pepper powder
  • 3 g onion powder
  • 2 g garlic powder
  • 1 g dried parsley
  • 80 g red onion
  • 75 g red bell pepper
  • grated cheese (to taste)
  • cheddar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by mixing warm milk, yeast, and honey in a bowl. Add flour, beaten egg, butter, and salt; knead until smooth.
  2. Let the dough rise for about an hour until doubled in size.
  3. Shape the dough into 16 equal balls and stack two together; coat with semolina.
  4. Allow the rolls to rise again for about 30 minutes.
  5. Bake in a preheated skillet until golden brown.
  6. Cook the beef filling with spices and veggies until tender; melt cheese over it.
  7. Assemble by filling rolls with the beef mixture and serve warm.
