  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
  • 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 12 maraschino cherries with stems
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the brownie layer by mixing melted butter with sugars and adding eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Pour into a greased springform pan and bake for 25 minutes.
  3. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and mix in eggs one at a time along with vanilla and sour cream. Pour over the baked brownie layer.
  4. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 45 minutes or until slightly jiggly in the center. Cool in the oven for an hour before chilling in the fridge for at least five hours.
  5. Before serving, top with warmed hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, nuts, cherries, and sprinkles as desired.
