Description

Mini trifles are the ultimate dessert for any gathering, combining stunning layers of flavor and texture in one delightful treat. These charming individual servings feature a beautiful blend of jelly, cream, custard, and fresh berries that are not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 85 grams jelly crystals
  • 125 mls cream
  • 12 pieces Tiramisu sponge fingers
  • 1/2 cup port or juice
  • 1 1/2 cups custard
  • 400 grams mixed berries
  • 200 mls thickened cream
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare jelly according to package instructions and fill small dessert dishes with 1 1/4 cups of the mixture. Refrigerate until set.
  2. When jelly is nearly set, combine remaining jelly with cream and beat until fluffy. Layer this on top of the set jelly.
  3. Crush sponge fingers, soak in port or juice, and layer over the cream mixture.
  4. Add custard and then top with chopped berries.
  5. Whip remaining cream and pipe onto each trifle; garnish with mint leaves.
