- 175 g (3/4 cup) softened butter
- 150 g (3/4 cup) granulated sugar
- 150 ml (2/3 cup) milk
- 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions

- In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

- Alternate adding half of the dry ingredients with half of the milk while mixing on low speed. Repeat with remaining ingredients until just combined.

- Cool in the tin for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
