  • 2 heads of cauliflower
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 500ºF (260ºC).
  2. Remove the outer leaves from each head of cauliflower and trim the stem. Cut each head in half lengthwise, then slice into 1½-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a small bowl, mix kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Drizzle olive oil on both sides of each steak and coat with the seasoning mixture.
  5. Place on a baking sheet covered tightly with foil and bake for 5 minutes. Remove foil and roast for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown; flip steaks and roast for another 6 to 8 minutes.
