  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse the shrimp until finely chopped but not pureed. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix in breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 2 tablespoons each) and place them on a tray.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the shrimp balls for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
